ASSOCIATE PRODUCER – EVENTS
Job Description
Our client is looking for an Associate Producer – Events to join their growing team in Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
* Overall management of the production process for designated projects.
* Participation in Creative Brainstorms to develop concepts and ideas for proposals.
* Collaboration with the Account Director to craft proposal documents.
* Supervision of Production Coordinators for the research and budgeting of proposed ideas.
* Management of the Production Schedule and organization of internal Production Meetings.
* Assistance in developing the Project Budget, coordinating with the Accounts Department on
financial documentation.
* Ensure that projects are delivered within budget and profit margin targets.
* Acting as the primary client contact during the production phase.
* Creation of on-site documentation, such as the Show Book, on-site schedule, call sheets, and
run orders.
* Liaison with all suppliers, performers, and vendors associated with the project.
* Maintenance of accurate and complete Project Files.
* Supervision of on-site activities as required.
* Facilitation and interpretation of client debriefs and feedback.
* Prompt and precise reconciliation and invoicing of projects.
* Completion of timesheets and administrative tasks.
Requirements:
* 2-4 years of experience in event production.
* Previous work with a major agency or production company.
* Basic knowledge of event components (venues, technical vendors, entertainment, etc.).
* Understanding of logistics and guest management.
* Experience managing micro budgets for specific event elements (HK$50k to $500k).
* Strong negotiating skills.
* College/University degree.
* Event Production Certification is advantageous.
* Proficiency in software tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* English is mandatory, Cantonese & Mandarin are a plus.
