MANAGER, BRAND COMMUNICATIONS

Job Description

Our client is looking for a Manager, Brand Communications (Regional) to join their growing team in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

* Lead and execute regional and global publicity strategy for Senior Management
* Strategize communication pillars around corporate priorities to raise brand profile, reputation, influence and preference through PR and content creation for our Senior Executive
* Formulate a comprehensive content and distribution strategy through media engagement, industry events, partnership
* Plan and implement branding communications strategies and initiatives at the executive and corporate level
* Develop strategy and calendar for award entry, industry events, speaking engagements and interviews
* Work with various stakeholders within the Management Team, Business Unit Heads, Marketing Teams to develop and delivery PR and communication tactics
* Assist in developing crisis management plans, related strategies and guidelines, and support the department head to manage issues/crises
* Build and maintain an internal portfolio and management system for our assets while developing our external portfolio with identified channels/media
* Develop award winning communications materials for targeting the most influential press outlets and stakeholders
* Create corporate contents including but not limited to press release, corporate collateral, interview material, speech, executive profile, factsheet, briefing documents, research, etc.
* Work with other communications and marketing teams in the group on press engagement/outreach, media amplification, content promotion and program engagement
* Manage corporate events
* Any other work-related tasks assigned by his/her supervisor

Requirements:

* Bachelor degree or above in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or Humanities
* Expertise in formulation and communications, media strategies and measures.
* Experience in communication with good understanding of business and financial industry, have extensive international media network.
* Minimum 10 years’ experience in branding and communications leadership roles
* Extensive corporate communications experience required
* Experience in media, journalism or newsgathering
* Relationship management and influencing skills
* Commercial-curious about the business and actively influences and contributes to discussions
* Team-oriented working skills
* Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge on Photoshop, Indesign and other design software would be an advantage
