SENIOR EVENT MANAGER – HONG KONG / MACAU

Job Description

A global events agency is seeking a Senior Event Manager to join their team and oversee the planning and execution

of in-person, virtual, and hybrid events across Asia and beyond. This full-time role can be based in either Hong Kong

or Macau. Candidates in Macau are encouraged to apply, and those in Hong Kong should expect frequent travel to and

stays in Macau for work.

Responsibilities:

* Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of events, including conferences, corporate gatherings, gala dinners,

incentive trips, and thought leadership forums

* Manage event budgets and financial planning to ensure cost control and high-quality execution

* Oversee project coordination, ensuring events are delivered on time and within scope

* Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the event planning

process

* Work closely with remote teams, vendors, and regional partners to ensure seamless event execution

* Handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

* Lead the development of event proposals, working with internal teams and external suppliers

* Ensure smooth execution of virtual and hybrid events when required

Requirements:

* At least eight years of event management experience, preferably in an agency setting

* Strong budgeting and financial management skills

* Fluency in English and Cantonese

* Excellent client servicing, communication, and relationship management skills

* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with remote teams and vendors

* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines

* Experience with virtual and hybrid event planning is highly valued

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

* Knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, or other event management software is a plus

* Willingness to travel internationally as required
