SALES EXECUTIVE – HONG KONG

Job Description

Our client, a global provider of technical solutions for the theatre, events, and exhibition industries,
is currently looking for a Sales Executive to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone
who enjoys both sales and project coordination, and who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on
environment.

About the Role:

The Sales Executive will focus on building relationships with new and existing clients, primarily
across theatrical productions and event-related projects. The role involves a mix of office-based
work and on-site responsibilities at exhibitions, live events, and client venues. A consultative
approach to selling is essential, as is the ability to identify client needs and offer tailored product
recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inbound enquiries and deliver high-quality customer service
  • Proactively develop new business opportunities across company product & service lines
  • Handle quotation preparation, price calculation, order processing, and sales documentation using internal systems
  • Build strong product knowledge to make suitable recommendations to clients
  • Coordinate delivery and installation timelines, and provide after-sales support
  • Maintain and develop long-term client relationships to identify future business opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
  • Attend site visits, client meetings, and support live events or exhibitions as required
  • Conduct market research and plan meetings with prospective and existing clients
  • Support other ad hoc projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • Degree holder preferred; candidates with less experience may be considered for a Sales Coordinator position
  • Fluent in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin (spoken and written)
  • Background in theatre, events, or textiles is an advantage
  • Japanese language skills (JLPT N2 or equivalent) are a plus
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and disciplined personality
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; open to continuous learning
  • Able to work independently & under pressure while maintaining a collaborative team spirit
  • Passionate about the events industry and comfortable with a hands-on, dynamic role
  • Immediate availability is highly preferred
